Linda and I have arrived safely in Philadelphia. Linda said as the plane lifted off in KC, "This is the beginning of a new era for us."
We met many wonderful people. Presently there are 63 people here for the staging. We leave Monday for Azerbaijan.

I am so glad to hear that your first day of staging went well. I know I speak for everyone when I say we feel your anxiety and excitement, albeit to a much lesser degree.
Now, if the Peace Corps does not allow you time to see the Cowboy game on Sunday night, then that's a deal breaker in my book. You can return to KC and practice for your new career, can you say, "Hi folks, welcome to WalMart!"
